I live in Mohammed Bin Zayed City and I’ve noticed a few detailing shops around here that advertise this stuff, but I’m always wary of places that claim to offer premium protection without really knowing what they’re doing, especially since I’ve heard that the installation quality is just as important as the film quality itself. I found a listing for a couple of Trusted self-healing PPF options for drivers in MBZ City, which seemed promising because they mentioned using films with a proper TPU core and an elastomeric topcoat that actually does the healing, but I’d still rather hear from people who’ve actually been through the process. I’m particularly keen to know if the film actually keeps the car looking good without constant detailing, and whether the self-healing properties work in our heat without any issues.
