A Blessed Union

On 25 October 2025, JCC members Daniel and Alyna tied the knot as husband and wife in a wedding ceremony filled with faith and love. The beautiful ceremony was held at Jurong Christian Church, and the service was officiated by Bishop Anthony Loh.

It was a beautiful testament to their shared faith and the beginning of their lifelong union as husband and wife. The couple exchanged vows, committing to love, cherish, and honor one another through all seasons of life.

The couple chose to anchor their wedding exhortation on verses from Colossians 3:13–15, 18–19 (NIV):

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.”

Having known them both for a long time—one since birth and one since childhood—I had the privilege of witnessing their friendship blossom into the beautiful love story we celebrate today.
