Children’s Day Celebration 2025

On 5 October 2025, we celebrated Children’s Day with great joy and excitement to appreciate the little ones in our midst. The morning began with a parents’ engagement session, where our leaders took time to connect and mingle with the parents — strengthening bonds and building a deeper sense of partnership in nurturing the next generation.

Over 20 children joined in the celebration, starting with a lively worship session, followed by a meaningful devotion led by Uncle Young Kwang. The focus was on Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” The children learnt the powerful message that they are uniquely made by God and precious in His eyes.

After the devotion, I had the joy of leading the children in a time of mass games! Their teamwork, excitement, and endless energy brought so much life to the room. Each child received a small mirror with the words “You are God’s masterpiece” as a reminder of the day’s message. Following that, we moved into a craft session led by Valerian, where the children got hands-on and creative. They made their own Koficlay coasters out of recycled coffee grounds. Each coaster was uniquely decorated, a lovely keepsake to bring home!

The celebrations continued with a hearty lunch and a sweet treat of old-school ice cream, bringing smiles all around. Each child went home with a goodie bag and their handmade coaster — a perfect way to wrap up the day’s festivities.

A huge thank you to the entire team for making this Children’s Day another memorable one for the kids. May these moments remind them of God’s love and the joy of growing up in His family.
