Children's Ministry
Our vision is that children aged 3-12 will
GROW to know and love Jesus, GLOW in Jesus’s likeness and GO tell others about Jesus.
It is true that our children today are leaders of our church tomorrow, and our church’s legacy depends very much on them. At this age group (3-12), they are discovering and forming godly truths as their brain develops. Our investment in educating and teaching them will eventually cultivate a foundation of personal relationship in knowing their Creator, their Saviour and Lord of their lives!
Little Lambs (2.5 - 6 years old)
Every Sundays, at Level 2 Room 207, from 10.45am – 12.15pm, while the main English Sunday Service is ongoing concurrently. Parents are encouraged to attend the Main English Service while their little ones are engaged at the Little Lambs Programme.
Preschool children are beginning to explore the world around them. They begin to develop a basic understanding of the world and form a fundamental worldview. Start them off with the right habits and traits, allowing them room to grow as God created them.
Children below 3 years old may require a caregiver or parent to be on-site to assist teachers.
iShine Kids (7 - 12 years old)
Every Sundays, at Level 5 MPH, from 9 – 9.30am for worship time. After worship, they will break into smaller groups for age-appropriate bible study from 9.30am -10.30am at the respective venues below:
- P1P2 Kids (level 2 Rm 203)
- P3P4 Kids (level 5 MPH 5A)
- P5P6 Kids (level 5 MPH 5B)
Primary school goers are at their most influential stage of life. Children will be exposed to godly values and character-building as their foundation, diving into various biblical lessons to help them mature spiritually. Give them an opportunity to be with friends and to develop accountability amongst trusted believers, which is especially needful during Covid-19.

Beyond the lenses of seeing JCC kids as who they are…literally, (ie; playful, innocent, teachable, young, curious, etc)
My vision for our Sunday School teachers is to stop recruiting them to teach, and instead recruit them with the goal of influencing the hearts and minds and of the next generation of church leaders. It is not an easy task, however with the work of the Holy Spirit, all things are possible and will come to pass in His timing.
