Evangelism Made Simple: Workshop Recap

On March 23, an Evangelism Workshop titled Evangelism Made Simple was hosted by Brother Wallis Sultan, a passionate brother with over 10 years of evangelism experience. Over 60 eager JCCians attended the workshop, engaging actively in real life and interactives examples given by Brother Wallis throughout the session.
The workshop addressed common questions and struggles believers often face when sharing the gospel:
- Can evangelism be made simple?
- How do I approach people?
- What do I say when I approach them?
- Where do I reach out?
- When is the best time?
- How do I convince them of the gospel?
Through practical examples, easy conversation starters, and proven tools, Brother Wallis provided a fresh and accessible approach to evangelism, equipping participants with confidence to engage others in faith-based conversations.
Why Evangelism Matters?
Evangelism is not merely an option but a command to be obeyed. When we truly understand and internalize what Christ has done for us, we will be moved and compelled to share His love with those around us. Sharing the gospel is an act of obedience and love, ensuring that more people come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
The Four Stages of Evangelism
One key takeaway from the workshop was the structured approach to evangelism, which can be carried out in four stages:
- Existence of a Creator – Establishing the fundamental belief in a higher power.
- Man’s Accountability to God – Helping others recognize their responsibility before their Creator.
- Handling Queries – Addressing doubts and concerns in a thoughtful and respectful manner.
- Presenting the Gospel – Clearly sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Special thanks to Manna Bridge ICs for organizing and arranging this insightful workshop, allowing everyone to learn and grow in their evangelism journey. I look forward to learning together with everyone in the next workshop.
As we continue in our walk of faith, may God plant the seeds of boldness and compassion in our hearts, enabling us to share the good news of Christ with those who have yet to hear His name.
