Goshen Bicycle Club: Welcoming 2026

On a breezy evening on 19th January 2026, twenty members and spouses of the Goshen Bicycle Club (also known as Befrienders of Cyclists) enjoyed a dinner fellowship hosted by veteran club member, Freddie Low, at his condominium’s barbecue area. While the meal was simple, the atmosphere was warm. A strategic team-based card game sparked peals of good-natured laughter over some bewilderment with the rules, perfectly fulfilling the night’s mission: breaking the ice and deepening camaraderie.
Since the pandemic, the GBC has served as one of the Goshen community bridges connecting Jurong Christian Church (JCC) with neighbouring residents.
Whether through the weekly Sunday bicycle maintenance clinic (offering free repairs and oiling from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at JCC Level 1) or inclusive cycling expeditions across the island, the club thrives on God’s blessings and the steadfast support of church members.
Welcoming 2026
As we embrace 2026, there is a shared sense of optimism for a year of renewed health, expanded outreach, and stronger bonds.
The presence of spouses at the dinner underscored our aim in forging a family-oriented fellowship that supports one another both on and off the road.
Upcoming Expedition: Lim Chu Kang Night Ride
The club is excited to announce its first major challenge of the year: a Night Ride to Lim Chu Kang on Saturday, 14th March 2026.
We look forward to seeing members and new friends alike on the road as we pedal onward in 2026!
