Prayer Focus for July

a) New Season with God’s Purpose

JCC is entering a new season with God’s purpose. As we celebrate our 56^th Anniversary, we are united in loving and serving the Lord. This is a time to give thanks to God for all He has done for us. We continue to seek God’s guidance upon the pastors, the council, ministry leaders and CG leaders to commit ourselves to His work in the years to come.

b) One Body in Christ – We Love Singapore

Pray for blessings upon the country. Together with the rest of the churches in Singapore, we will be participating in the 40-Day Prayer 2023 from July 1 to August 9. This is a time to encounter God in a new way, and to be empowered by His Spirit for His work. The high point of the prayer season will be the Day of His Power on August 8.

c) Empowered by the Holy Spirit

We continue to seek the power of the Holy Spirit to empower us for the gospel ministry:

• To be effective witnesses for Christ in all places (home, offices, schools, etc.).
• To produce a good harvest in our outreach to the community in Taman Jurong via the Goshen Bridges.
• To make the most of open doors where the gospel seeds are sown into lives.
• To be disciples of Christ and disciple-makers for Him.

We believe that this is a season of great blessing for JCC. Let’s seek God together, with confidence that He will pour out His Spirit on us and empower us for His work. We are excited to see what He will do in the days to come!
