PULSE Christmas Event: “What’s Your Story?”

This year’s PULSE End-of-Year Evangelistic Event, titled “What’s Your Story?”, began with Christmas-themed food and icebreakers that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The main segment of the programme featured Soularium, a conversational card game developed by Cru.

Soularium is designed to spark spiritual conversations through connection, empathy, and deep listening, guided by thought-provoking images. The deck includes a wide range of pictures—from abstract visuals and everyday activities to more puzzling images. With the help of guiding prompts, participants took turns sharing their experiences and feelings, while facilitators provided structure and gentle Christian perspectives.

The true focus of the event, however, was the participants’ sharing. As the event marked the close of the Year of Living Out the Great Commission (PULSE’s 2025 theme), members were encouraged to practise active listening and respond with the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ. Haniel concluded the programme with a succinct, Christmas-themed sharing that brought the focus back to the gift of the Gospel.

We would like to give special thanks to Haniel, who served as a one-man army—handling everything from catering and icebreakers to the final sharing. Inspired by his time in NTU Cru, he saw how personal conversations and testimonies could meaningfully connect people and spark spiritual discussions, and believed this would benefit the youths of JCC and their friends.

In total, 26 people attended, including eight friends of PULSE. Despite the short runway for sign-ups, this was truly the work of the Lord. We thank God for His provision of ideas, logistics, and willing hearts, and for the friends of PULSE who took time to come, share their stories, and hear The Story.
