Baptism on Christmas Day: Dina Tan

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ this Christmas, we extend the warmest welcome to our new sister-in-Christ, Dina Tan, who was brought into the household of God through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on 25th December 2025.

For Lutherans, baptism is far more than a symbolic ritual or a public declaration of personal faith. It is a “means of grace” i.e., it is God’s work, not man’s. It effects forgiveness of sins and grants eternal salvation to all who believe.
As recorded in Mark 16:16, our Lord Christ said, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

As Dina takes this significant step, we pray that she grows stronger in her faith each day, finding true joy and purpose as she obeys God’s calling for her.
Best wishes to Dina!
