LCCS’ Let Our Voice Run (27 Nov)
Let Our Voice Run: Ending Sexual Harm in Campus with Our Collective Voice
LCCS aims to shed a light on the concerning issue of dating violence and sexual harm experienced by students in IHLs through Let Our Voice Run (LOVR) campaign. Since its launch in 2020, Let Our Voice Run has grown into a campaign with a stronger resolve to peacefully end violence and to encourage more restorative initiatives that drive meaningful conversations about the impact of sexual harm on the lives of young adults.
Last year, LOVR garnered 168 participants to walk/run/cycle and join the cause. The virtual run brings together friends, family, and concerned stakeholders in a similar cause and encourages them to reflect on the importance of building relationships based on mutual respect and consent. We hope to reach 300 participants this year!
Buy a race ticket and pledge a distance for 27 November! All proceeds from the campaign will go towards our provision of workshops and interventions to students in IHLs, including building skills of student champions and providing safe spaces for survivors to speak about their experiences, support by people who care.
