Ash Wednesday is the starting of the Lent season. It marks 40 days towards the final moments of Jesus: He entered Jerusalem, suffered, died and was buried on Good Friday. Easter Sunday then marks His resurrection. Set aside this time of reverent worship to the Lord, giving some time to fast and pray as we go through Lent.
