Celebrating God’s Faithfulness: Jurong Christian Church’s 59th Anniversary

On Sunday, 5 July 2026, the Jurong Christian Church family gathered with hearts full of thanksgiving to celebrate our 59th Anniversary. It was a joyous occasion as members from both our English and Chinese congregations came together for a combined worship service, reflecting the unity that has always been at the heart of our church.
The anniversary service was a meaningful celebration of God’s faithfulness through the years. The congregation was uplifted by a beautiful choir presentation, and a vibrant dance performance that expressed our joy and gratitude.

As we worshipped together, we also reflected on the remarkable journey that has brought us to where we are today. One of the most significant milestones in our history has been the rebuilding of our church. Raising $25 million was no small undertaking. There were moments of uncertainty, challenges that tested our faith, and obstacles that seemed overwhelming.
Yet through every step of the journey, God remained faithful.
The rebuilding project was more than a construction effort—it became a testimony of what God can accomplish through a united church. As members came together in prayer, gave sacrificially, served faithfully, and encouraged one another, we witnessed God’s provision time and again. What once appeared to be an impossible task became a powerful reminder that when God’s people stand together in faith, He makes a way.

Our new church building stands today not only as a place of worship, but also as a symbol of God’s grace, the generosity of His people, and the strength found in Christian unity. It is a legacy that will serve generations to come as we continue to share the Gospel, nurture disciples, and extend Christ’s love to the community.

As we celebrate 59 years of God’s faithfulness, we look ahead with hope and confidence. The same God who has guided Jurong Christian Church through nearly six decades will continue to lead us into the future. May we remain steadfast in our faith, united in purpose, and committed to serving Him together.
To God be all the glory for the past 59 years, and for the many more years of ministry to come.
