Prayer Focus for August 2024

Spiritual Empowerment

• Pray for the Holy Spirit’s transformative power to ignite a passionate pursuit of Christ among Jccians.
• Pray that the Holy Spirit’s anointing equips JCCians to experience and actively share God’s miraculous work for the rest of the year.
• Pray for a powerful and tangible outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Sunday services, leading to a breakthrough work for all.

Ministry Needs

• Pray that God will send a full-time worker to shepherd the children, youth, and young adults in JCC.
• Pray for wisdom and discernment for JCC leaders as they plan for 2025.

Outreach and Missions

• As JCC participates in the Taman Jurong National Day events, pray for opportunities to connect with the community and share God’s love.
• Lift up the Day of His Power on August 8^th as a powerful opportunity for outreach, praying for a revival to sweep across Singapore.
• WICAS (Women in Church and Society) Heritage Trail in October to understand the history of Christianity in Singapore – Pray that participants who gather in JCC will be blessed by God’s presence.
• ILSM – May God open hearts and grant success in planting a new work that brings faith and hope to the seafarers.

Supporting Individuals

• Pray for Pearl, our theological student, for good health, strength and focus as she diligently pursues her studies.
• Lift up JCC missionaries (Chak Mun, Chih Chiang/Bee, Hannah, Ps Michael) in prayer. Ask for protection from evil and for the joy of the Lord to be their strength.
