Prayer Focus for August 2025

In this new season, I invite every one of you — no matter your age, background, or ministry involvement — Ask yourself:

• What is my role in the body of Christ in this season?
• What gifts has the Lord entrusted to me?
• How can I serve His Church — not later, but now?

Let us not simply watch as developments unfold, but participate actively and prayerfully in what God is doing. Let us build up the Church together, not in our own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit.

As we pray this month, let us lift up:

1. Rev. Anthony: For wisdom, grace, and divine strength in his new role as Bishop.
2. Leadership: That each member of the leadership will seek, discern, and step into God’s new season, embracing new initiatives to grow our various ministries.
3. New and Existing Staff: Pray for all staff members assuming new roles – Rev Caleb Oh as pastor-in-charge, Elaine in Youth & Children’s ministry, Wing Ter and Joanna as part-time administrators, and our two new Dialect ministry staff. May the Lord establish the work of their hands and bless their service, so that their efforts would bear lasting fruit for His kingdom and glory.
4. Evangelism and Outreach: That God would open new doors for gospel-sharing and draw new believers to our church.
5. Unity and Love: That relationships within our church family would be strengthened.
6. Personal Discernment: That each member will seek and respond to God’s call to serve in this new season.
7. Our Dialect (Hokkien) Ministry:

• For a smooth leadership transition after Deacon Nathan Lim steps down on 24^th
• For continued faith and evangelism among the current Dialect ministry members.
• For God’s blessings in raising up young leaders to serve in the ministry.
• For good health and spiritual well-being of the elderly members.
• For opportunities to share the Gospel with unbelieving Dialect-speaking people in our neighbourhood.
