Seasons of Waiting: Trusting God in Every Season
On 30 August 2026, the ladies of Jurong Christian Church gathered for a meaningful and refreshing Ladies Lunch centred on the theme “Seasons of Waiting.”
Waiting is something we all experience in different seasons of life. Whether we are waiting for an answer to prayer, a change in circumstances, a new season, or simply for God’s timing to unfold, waiting can often feel difficult and uncertain. Yet, these seasons of waiting can also become opportunities to draw closer to God and grow in our faith.
We had the privilege of hearing from a respected speaker, Persis, who taught us about two important spiritual disciplines: praising God amidst the waiting and learning to be patient.
The ladies also enjoyed a creative activity, working together to craft a song using adjectives that describe Jesus. Through this fun and meaningful activity, the ladies had the opportunity to express their faith and creativity while reflecting on who Jesus is and what He means to us.
The Ladies Lunch was a beautiful reminder that every season has a purpose. Whether we are in a season of waiting, growing, or receiving, God remains faithful. May we learn to praise Him in the waiting, patiently trust His timing, and remember that He is with us in every season of life.
