The Time is NOW!

Over 100 churches and para-church organisations gathered at the Hatten Hotel Melaka, from January 15 ‒18 for a powerful prayer summit. Nine hearts from JCC joined nearly 800 souls united in worship, prayer and praise.

On a thrilling coach journey from Singapore, keen eyes spotted a curious alignment of the bus license plate number PD1314C and the words “ALMIGHTY AUTO PTE LTD,” the transport company’s name, just below it.

An instant buzz arose. The Mandarin pronunciation of 1314 mirrors the phrase 一生一世 (yī shēng yī shì) from Psalm 23:6, meaning “all the days of my life.” Could PD & C stand for “Powerfully Divine” and “Ceaselessly” (forever, 直到永远, zhí dào yǒng yuǎn)?

殿 Ps 23:6

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Ps 23:6)

Was the Almighty indeed signing off on PD1314C, showering us with divine assurance just as Psalm 23:6 says?

Laughter filled the air, but the echo of Psalm 23:6 resonated deeper. Like the Psalmist, we held firm to the belief in God’s constant protection, His unfailing love forever accompanying our steps.

And indeed, blessings abounded. Our journey to Malacca unfolded safely, and during the summit, God’s presence embraced us in love and peace, transforming the venue into a sanctuary of heavenly focus and unbridled worship. The power of His presence pulsed through every prayer, every song, every shared breath.

The LoveSingapore Prayer Summit was more than just a gathering; it was a divine journey, etched in our hearts and forever illuminated by the light of God’s grace.

Some of the highlights of our experience are also great spiritual motivators:

  • Strong emphasis on unity and fellowship among denominations. Leaders from various denominations gathered to pray, shared meals, and discussed God’s vision for Singapore.
  • Focus on fulfilling the Great Commission. Speakers underscored the urgency of evangelizing both in Singapore and beyond, urging attendees to step out of their comfort zones and share the Gospel.
  • The LoveSingapore Summit provided a space for encouragement, inspiration, and renewed commitment to God’s work.

Remember, even the smallest seed, with proper care and nurturing, can blossom into something magnificent. Let’s keep tending to the seeds of the Gospel in the hearts around us, and trust that God will bring forth the harvest in His perfect timing.

Sharing the Gospel is not optional, it’s an urgent call for every believer.

The Time is NOW!
