Prayer Focus for October 2025
This month, let us lift our hearts in prayer for outreach, God’s provision, and the spiritual renewal of His people.
Outreach Initiatives
- 4 October: Pray for the Mid-autumn and Children’s Day Celebration that the parents and children from the David & Goliath Preschool and JCCians’ friends will feel the warm welcome, enjoy the fun activities, and experience God’s joy at this festive gathering.
- 4-5 October: Pray for the Manna Bridge Mid-Autumn House Visitation — that God’s light will shine through Taman Jurong neighbourhood, drawing residents to His love.
- 20 December: Pray ahead for the Christmas Block Party at Taman Jurong — that residents will respond warmly to the invitation, and no last-minute issues will hinder the celebration of Christ’s birth.
Petition for Provision
- Lutheran Church in Singapore (31 October): Pray for the Reformation Celebration Service. May Bishop Anthony’s exhortation inspire God’s people for a new season of faithful witness.
- Pastoral Needs: Pray for God to provide a new pastor for the English section and a shepherd for the Dialect Ministry — servants who love God’s Word and His people.
Spiritual Renewal
- Prayer for Revival: Ask God to initiate a fresh revival in JCC through our Prayer and Praise meetings, where more children of God will gather to intercede for His Church.
- Healing Grace: Pray for miracle healings and restoration for those seeking prayer after Sunday services, asking that Christ’s power brings hope and wholeness to their lives.
- Spiritual Growth: Pray that our brothers and sisters will have a deep hunger to study God’s Word and a renewed passion for prayer. May this commitment ensure our church remains rooted and grounded in Christ’s truth.
Let us pray faithfully, knowing that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).
