FEATURED COURSE

Studying biblical Hebrew allows us to read the Old Testament in its original language, providing insights into nuances that may not be fully captured in translation and opening a window into the culture and worldview of ancient Israel. Students will learn to read and translate basic Hebrew phrases in this course.

Elementary Hebrew 1 and 2 are now open for registration, and we strongly encourage you to register for both courses together!

Elementary Hebrew 1 will be on December 2024 so that you can take Elementary Hebrew 2 during Jan 2025. The proposed dates and information are as follows.

• Date/time: 7, 14,  21 , 28 December (Saturday), 9am – 1pm
• Venue: SBC campus
• Attendance Requirement: 75% minimum attendance
• Next Course: After completing this module, you can continue with Elementary Hebrew 2 in January 2025, taught by the same instructor and starting from 18 Jan. (18, 25 Jan; 8, 15, 22 Feb; 1, 8, 15 Mar, Saturday 10am-12pm). More info please check CCM website. https://www.sbc.edu.sg/certificate-of-church-ministry
• Course Fee:  $109 per module (same as CCM regular courses, gst included) and one time registration fee $21.8 when you first time enroll our CCM.

Instructor

Ms. Janis Lim graduates with a Master of Divinity (MDiv, Biblical Studies) in May 2024. Having experienced the benefits of being able to read and understand the Bible in its original languages (Hebrew and Greek), she is eager to help others on this journey. Janis worships at Bethesda Frankel Estate Church.
